On automobile you can marvel at the most extravagant study models. Usually go away them in a shed or the salt-free production models. These concepts were, however, almost unchanged in production and that shows a good dose of guts!
BMW Z1 Concept (1985)
In 1985, surprised BMW friend and foe with this sleek, contoured roadster. Well, that BMW is ultimately a roadster would come that was already there was in the line of expectation. That the bizarre sliding doors on the production model of the BMW Z1 (1988) would be, that no one had expected.
Porsche Boxster Concept (1993)
After many, many years of “affordable” Porsche with a four-cylinder engine in the front, threw Porsche with the Boxster to the helm. In 1993 there was this Boxster Concept to shine at the fair in Detroit, only in the summer of 1996, the model finally on the market.
Fiat Auto Iii Concept (1996)
With an ugly concept car come you way, with exactly the same ugly production model it is difficult to score. A pity, because the Bounce was a cleverly designed car.
Audi Al2 Concept (1997)
About misunderstood cars… as popular as the Audi A2 now it seems, so few people bought him when he was still of the band rolled in. That had undoubtedly to do with the rather hefty price. This concept from 1997 is called still Al2, to the abbreviation for aluminum, from which the concept and the final A2 are increased.
Dodge Viper VM-01 (1989)
In 1989, showed Dodge the freak Viper VM-01 Concept on the show floor in Detroit. Not with the plan of these brutal sports car ever, but especially to show what they Dodge in their mars. The public did, however, massively know best as a Viper, to have and Dodge went round in the end. In January 1992, was the Viper RT/10 at the dealers.
Alfa Romeo Montreal Expo Prototipo (1967)
Actually had this concept car no name, but because Alfa Romeo showed him at the world’s fair in Montreal, gave the public the car this name. Have concepts, often a much larger engine than the later bread-and-butter models, the Montreal, in Montreal was equipped with a 1600cc four-cylinder engine from the Giulia, the production model had a 2.6-litre V8!
Plymouth Prowler (1993)
A modern hotrod, that lustten that Americans do. They took a little while to wait, because only in 1997 had 457 virtually unchanged Prowlers of the band. In 1999, production was again started up, and in 2002 was the plug for the second time.
Toyota FJ Cruiser Concept (2003)
The mid-90s, Toyota to work on a project for the iconic Land Cruiser FJ40 to be reincarnated in a modern but retro look. The result is shown in 2003 in Detroit to shine more and has all the elements of a concept car. Nevertheless, you must two times to see the difference between the concept and the production model of the FJ Cruiser (2006), to spot. Chapeau Toyota!
Renault Avantime (1999)
Did they think we would forget, huh? In 1999, presented Renault in the louvre, a concept car, a futuristic design driedeurs Espace. Where of works of art in the Louvre is usually only one instance is, the Avantime in 2001, just at the Renault dealer around the corner.
