Fine for banana behind steering wheel

A 45-year-old automobiliste was weird to watch when they heard why they by an agent of the road was removed. They got a fine of 190 euro because a banana had eaten behind the wheel.

Elsa Harris from the Uk to Christchurch, came last June in the file when they decided to take a banaantje to peel off during the wait. In the same file was, however, a police officer, the woman standing held, report British media.

When they unsuspectingly asked what was going on, came the monkey out of the sleeve. They had, according to the agent, her hands on the wheel and would other road users at risk.

Harris got a fine of 130 euros, but it went immediately to appeal against it. ,,I found it out, so decided in the penalty to fight,” she says to The Daily Mail. That came to her, however, are expensive, because last week she was also in the appeal were found guilty. The punishment was higher, with a fine of 190 euro and three penalty points on her driving licence.

Dangers

Especially the fact that they are a penalty has been given will find Harris very distorted. ,,I would be dangerous behavior have shown. If I were a pedestrian got hit by a car, while I only have a banana at!”

The police, however, remains fully behind the arrest and punishment. ,,People should better think about the dangers of eating and drinking behind the wheel.”
