Company Xiaomi announced the Redmi 3 – an updated version of its popular smartphone at a reasonable price. Despite its small price tag, the device offers enough interesting things, one of which is fully metal housing, available in few colour variants.
Galaxy 3 is equipped with a battery of 4100 mAh, charge which, as stated in the announcement, is enough for more than two days. It should be noted that for this indicator, the device is superior to such devices as, for example, Moto X Play, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and LG V10. However, unlike the aforementioned devices Galaxy 3 uses its own battery to power a 5-inch 720p screen, which consumes less power than most smartphones premium with 1080p or 2K.
The opportunity to use Redmi 3 for more than two days without recharging can be a decisive factor for buyers who appreciate the smartphone battery life.
Galaxy 3 uses an 8-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 616, having 2 GB RAM and internal storage capacity of 16 GB. Not the coolest of features, but quite acceptable for most users, especially those who do not indulge themselves in mobile games.
Another feature of this device is the 13 megapixel rear camera with ultra fast autofocus. It complements the front shooter at 5 megapixels. The report also mentions the work with two SIM-cards.
Sale Redmi 3 will start in China on January 12 at the price of 699 yuan – about 107 USD. The following markets for the budget smartphone Xiaomi, likely to be Brazil, India, Indonesia, Singapore and Russia.
