Audi RS5 DTM: the new ride of Rockenfeller

Audi kicks the DTM season with the RS5 last year, supplemented with a completely new aerodynamicapakket.

The latest edition of Audi’s DTM racer was last week at the Geneva motor show displayed, now shows Audi is also the yellow sticker that is on the bespoilerde silhouetracer. The main sponsor is, after all, still Schaeffler, supplemented by the DEKRA and one FAG.

Audi says that under the carbon fiber exterior a lot of adjustments have been made, but happens about it not in detail. The atmospheric V8 with 4 liter capacity delivers a power of around 460 horsepower limited with a luchtrestrictor and the weight is around 1.110 kg.

The car was last night unveiled by the 30-year-old Mike Rockefeller, the driver of that Audi last year at Zandvoort for the DTM championship reed. He may from 4 may again go up against Mercedes and BMW. The latter unveiled recently their trump card: the BMW M4 DTM.
