Apple has shared statistics on popularity of applications and games in mobile online App store for 2015 in Russia. So, the most popular by number of downloads of paid apps for iPhone was the app Facetune designed for retouching portraits and oriented to lovers of selfie.
The most popular free app for iPhone were WhatsApp messenger. As for iPad users, they most often loaded the free app “Facebook for iPad”, and leads from paid game Minecraft: Pocket Edition. The highest grossing app for iPhone and iPad was Clash of Clans.
As for the App Store editors choice, best iPhone internationally, called Periscope, a new solution to the team Twitter for video streaming, photo processor Enlight, the solution of automation and productivity and Workflow for Lark and Fit Men Cook. For the iPad edition of the App Store called app of the year Robot Factory from Tinybop that lets kids build, test, and assemble robots, as well as HBO Now, Patterning: Drum Machine and LiquidText.
