Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon chips 625, 435 and 425 of the average level

Qualcomm has unveiled three new mobile processor of mid — range Snapdragon 625, 435 and 425. The chips will get such features, characteristic for high-class solutions that support LTE with aggregation of carrier frequencies, the concept of Snapdragon All Mode with support for all major cellular technologies, support standard Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and MU–MIMO, dual ISP processor, Qualcomm TruSignal technology to improve the quality of the connection, the digital signal processor Qualcomm Hexagon DSP that meets the requirements of Android M, as well as fast charging technology Qualcomm Quick Charge.

According to the manufacturer, OCTA-core Snapdragon 625 will be its first processor based on 14nm FinFET lithography. This should reduce energy consumption by 35%. It is equipped with cores ARM Cortex-A53 with a frequency up to 2 GHz, graphics Adreno 506 and X9 LTE modem. Supports camera up to 24 Megapixels, record and playback 4K video.

OCTA-core Snapdragon 435 is positioned as a first-in-class solution with the X8 LTE modem, which gives a data transfer rate up to 300 Mbit/s when uploading to the device and up to 100 Mbps when uploading. It is produced according 28-nanometer process technology, equipped with cores ARM Cortex-A53 with a frequency of 1.5 GHz, graphics Adreno 505. Supports cameras up to 21 MP, record and playback Full HD-video.

Quad-core Snapdragon 425 entry level should be replacing the Snapdragon 410 and 412. It is produced according 28-nanometer process technology, has received a 64-bit processor cores ARM Cortex A53, graphics Adreno 308 and modem X6 LTE. Supports cameras up to 16 MP, record and playback Full HD-video.
