Egypt: no terror to disaster Russian unit

CAIRO –

Egypt has, so far, no indications have been found that in the disaster with a Russian passenger jet with tourists in October there was a terrorist act or other crime. This is evident from a preliminary report of the ministry for civil Aviation on the crash, that all 224 people on board killed.

Russia has previously said that the plane crashed by a bomb that was on board. Islamic State said to be responsible for the attack.

But an Egyptian technical committee of inquiry has to date found no evidence that it is a terrorist act, according to the ministry. The device that was taken off in the resort town of Sharm al-Sheikh, crashed in the Sinai.

Russia continues to go out of an attack. “I remind you that our inlichtingenexperts to the conclusion that an attack was,” responded a spokesman from the Kremlin, Monday, on the Egyptian findings.

Last week had the Egyptian minister of Tourism, Hisham Zaazou, to know that the revenue from tourism by the disaster this year in Egypt 10 percent lower than last year. He said on that occasion that Egypt is working to eliminate any security holes to be sealed. The country thus hopes that foreign visitors to again come down on the beaches, desert tours and historical sights.
