Beeline launched LTE in Syktyvkar, Ukhta and Vorkuta

The operator VimpelCom (Beeline brand) started the commercial operation of fourth-generation network in communications in three cities of Komi Republic — Syktyvkar, Ukhta and Vorkuta.

The network operates in the frequency range 2600 MHz. According to VimpelCom, the average data transfer speed in LTE network, which was registered by the technical experts of the operator, is 15-25 Mbps, and the maximum is about 50 Mbps.

At the moment, the LTE network of “Beeline” covers the urban area of Syktyvkar, Ukhta and Vorkuta. To connect to the 4G network you need a device with support for LTE and SIM card inserted, if necessary, can be replaced free of charge at the offices of the operator.

Note that until 15 January 2016 LTE mobile Internet is offered free of charge and unlimited in the framework of “free 4G” on the tariff line “EVERYTHING!” and “All for business”.
