2016 CES: LG will release a 98-inch 8K TV in the second half of 2016

LG Electronics has announced to CES 2016, which will be held from 6 to 9 January in Las Vegas, a line of advanced high-definition televisions. The line is headed by 98-inch monster under the number UH9800 with a resolution of 8K. The manufacturer stated that the exhibition will be the first production-ready sample of this LG TV, and the shipments to stores will begin in the second half of 2016.

Also LG will show at CES 2016 improved model 4K TV. Series UH8500 diagonals from 55 to 75 inches and UH9500 diagonals from 55 to 86 inches support Prime Plus Color that increases the color range that can be displayed on the screen.

A “budget” series UH7700 diagonals from 49 to 65 inches supports the viewing of content HDR (High Dynamic Range) and is equipped with a True Black panel that reduces reflections and enhances contrast for more comfortable viewing.
