Sleet hinders German trains

Freezing rain in the northwest of Germany, has Sunday night ensured that at least one hundred passengers the night in a sports hall in Norddeich had to spend. The Red Cross in the town on the North sea some tens of kilometres from the Dutch border, the stranded travelers of tea, food and blankets. The travelers were on their way to Cologne, but came to shortly after departure between Norddeich and Emden to stand still. A diesel locomotive has the train after a few hours teruggesleept.
The intercity train in the opposite direction, came by the sudden freezing rain just before the station Emden to a halt. The passengers had the last kilometre to visit.
