Here drive the new Audi R8 [updated]

Firmly packed we see the first sign of life of the new R8. Well, ‘new’ is maybe a big word.

The Audi R8 is already seven years among us. That means that the quattro-powered sports car with narrow Gallardo-family ties in the direction of the eternal roestvelden will be conducted. There is a new model that many part with the Huracán will share, but in terms of shape and silhouette very similar to the current model looks like. No radical innovation, but an evolution as we that recently at the TT saw.

The tape prototype that here rounds on the Nürburgring travel shows do all the necessary changes. so it seems the nose is lower and the grille is pre-shrunk. The headlights have been redesigned, as well as the air intakes. On the side it seems like the air vents behind the ‘blades’ which are rounded.

The back shows a fairly large diffuser with two angular uitlaatuiteinden on both sides. The butt also appears in width to be increased. Unfortunately it is located on the power supply covered, but in the engine compartment is probably the same 5.2-liter V10 as in the Huracán.
