Fear of new floods in England

LONDON –

The authorities in Britain fear new floods by heavy rains in the northwest of the country. The national weather bureau for the county of Lancashire a code red is issued as rivers burst their banks, threatening to act.

The county is together with Cumbria earlier this month had already been hit by flooding by a storm. The consequences are still visible. Some places in Cumbria over the past few weeks three times already flooded.

The residents of the two counties have not yet called to leave but they should be ready to quickly to safety.
