The Audi Q7, we know already, but the most important for our version on the Dutch market is of course the plug-in hybrid e-tron. Time for a renewed acquaintance.

That the Audi Q7 a good car is, since we were already out. It was seriously difficult for cons to find when I last summer with the largest SUV from Ingolstadt to step went. A very large part of that driving test we would also be able to copy-paste to this driving test: in terms of driving behavior is not very exciting, but everything perfectly in order. In terms of finishing the benchmark in its class. Lots of space, lots of fine comfortverhogende affairs. Only the appearance was something more pronounced, as the previous Q7.
But the Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI is for our market so important that we were but at the invitation of Audi went on: the elektroversie will be eagerly received and find, thanks to the 15% tax liability that the car is going to get. Jep, 15%, because Audi comes up to the car for 1 January at the plate. That Was successful, then the CO2 emissions of 46 grams per kilometre have been good for 7% additional tax liability.
The Q7 e-tron is the only diesel-hybrid SUV in the segment. Competitors like BMW (X5 plug-in hybrid) and Volvo (XC90 T8 plug-in hybrid) rely on benzinestokers, while a thick diesel as a backup for the elektropower (electric range: 56 miles) is actually very logical. The 3.0 TDI and electric drive train are good for a 373 hp and 700 Nm of torque. This is 258 horsepower of the TDI and the 126 hp of the electric motor.
The Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI is fully electric drive, but if more power is needed (or the batteries are empty) switch the diesel seamlessly. And by seamlessly I mean that it is virtually unnoticeable happens. It is really incredibly amazing how Audi, the quantity so smoothly together. We already knew that they were good at, after we, for example, with the A3 e-tron reason, but still. Kudos. That automatic transmission is also standard, as well as the Quattro drive.
The performance lie not in order: thanks to the strong eight speed s-tronic automatic gearbox will slap you in 6 seconds to 100 kilometers per hour. That means that at this moment it is the smoothest Q7 in the range. The top speed is 225 kilometers per hour. That will partly be a result of the weight of the car, with almost 2.5 tonnes it is no featherweight. That weight you feel also if you are a bit fanatical curves is boenderen, but I bothered me less here than in the A3 e-tron. A Q7 you buy, after all, not for those nice mountain roads but firmly doorjoekelen on the left lane of the highway. And straight you will not notice anything of the kilos.
The only real disadvantage compared to the competition is probably (next to the time of introducing the price. With €85.000 euro is the Q7 a bit more expensive than the other plug-in hybrid SUVS in the premium segment. Opposite to this, that you will probably be quite a can save on the heating bill if you have a lot of mileage. The normverbruik is set at 1.7 litres per 100 kilometres. That applies of course only for the first 100 kilometers after charging, but then will the diesel also is much more efficient than the benzinegestookte competitors. Audi has a strong trump in hands, it is only sin for the men in Leusden that they have the car a few months earlier in the Netherlands. From the beginning of next year is the Q7 in the Dutch showrooms.
