Take a Ferrari Testarossa, give it two facelifts and construction there are 501 copies of, and voila, you have a superzeldzame exot. Not less than two pieces are currently on sale in the province of North Holland.
The Ferrari Testarossa from 1984, knows everyone, few sports cars have just such an iconic status as this broad (and broadly applicable) supersporter with z’n egg slicers. Between 1984 and 1991, there were 7177 copies screwed together, which at that time the most popular model with 12-cylinder was once Ferrari. Success you need milk-out, that also had a Ferrari, and so were the Italians in 1991 with a new sports car, but with a somewhat revamped Testarossa. This 512TR is to recognize the slightly less angular faceplate that is strong to the 348 TB. Again, 2261 copies between 1991 and 1994 were added to the Testarossa series.

And even then it was not done with the Testarossa, in 1994 again a facelift. This time a lot things more rigorously and that is not necessarily a good thing. The klaplampen disappear, the grille gets the same style as the F355, and the tail lights behind the plates for the famous four round seeds. To top it all off, the beautiful wheels of the 512TR make room for the busy wheels which make a piece appear smaller than they are. All in all, the 512M now not seen as the culmination of Ferrari design. Also the customers are not flocking in the row for the F512 M, there are only 501 built.
Not that Testarossa’s are on every street encounter, but a F512 M is really a car that you with a magnifying glass to search for it. The greater the surprise, now in Alkmaar, not one, but two seemingly identical copies being offered for sale by Auto Leitner. Both from 1995 and with low mileage. The first has 21,000 km and cost 335,000 euros, the second has been with 32,000 miles more experience, but costs 359.000 euro. How is that possible? For which of the two you choose, with a 4.9 litre flat-12 (but Ferrari F4912 M sounds so dull) with 440 hp is always part of the deal.
