Huawei press event in China has unveiled its new flagship smartphone in a new form factor slider — Honor Magic 2. He replaces model Honor Magic, released in 2016.
Predecessor at the time was positioned as the first smartphone based on artificial intelligence system. Honor Magic 2 advanced much further. He got a brand new voice assistant Yoyo and is based on the 980 processor Kirin with advanced capabilities for artificial intelligence.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6,39-inch AMOLED-display with a thin framework and without cut-Full HD+(2340 x 1080 pixels). The manufacturer said that the screen covers almost 100% of front panel, small frames, of course.
Sliding the screen down, the user gets access to the front camera and sensors. Fingerprint scanner embedded under the display, using optical sensor. Triple rear camera has a resolution of 16+24+16 MP. Front camera is also triple on 16+2+2 MP.
The battery has a capacity of 3500 mAh and is supported by quick charging SuperCharge 40 watts. Supports two SIM cards, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, has a port USB Type-C. the Smartphone runs on Android operating system 9.0 Pie shell EMUI 9.0. Dimensions are 157,32 x 75,13 x 8.3 mm and weighs 206 grams.
Taking pre-orders in China starts today and will run until 5 November, sales will begin November 6, 2018. Honor Magic 2 is available in four versions: the 6+128 GB for 545$, 8+128 GB for $ 616, 8+256 GB for $ 688, and a special edition of 8+512 GB for 832 USD.
