In Russia, soon it will be possible to withdraw money from ATMs without using a Bank card, but just using your smartphone. This was told by the newspaper “Izvestia” with reference to representatives of the top 40 largest assets of credit organizations.
Russian banks already incorporate the possibility of using ATMs using technologies such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Android Pay. They are supported by many modern smartphones. The smartphone will be sufficient to bring a special NFC-enabled terminal reader.
In most banks the user with a smartphone to transfer money between accounts, withdraw and Deposit money and pay for the services.
At the moment this functionality is only in 782 terminals available in the country 203 thousand. The technology works in 382 terminals Tinkoff-Bank and 400 — Alfa-Bank. Testing confirmed the savings Bank and Bank “Russian standard”. In 2019 it is planned to launch in support of the transaction with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Android Pay to VTB, Bank OTKRITIE, the Moscow credit Bank, Post Bank and Ural Bank for reconstruction and development.
