In the desktop operating system macOS from the Apple company discovered a dangerous vulnerability. Found it developed by Thomas Reid (Thomas Reed).
The security system typically checks that only user-installed apps, and re-checking the “friends” system apps are extremely rare. Attackers can exploit this by introducing malicious code into the app already installed.
Reid said: “it’s easy to grab the official app that is already installed in the system without causing any validation code signing. Worst of all, most developers don’t know about it and add your own checks”.
