Analysts publication Digitimes announced the most popular in Russia manufacturer of components and mobile computers. It appeared to be ASUS, which is 35% of the market of graphic accelerators in Russia. Thus, every third sold in Russia graphic card is ASUS, and the Taiwanese vendor’s competitors are far behind in terms of market share.
Sales ASUS motherboard also holds the lead with a share of more than 50% and gaming notebooks ASUS ROG is more than 26% of the market in 2018.
According to Digitimes, more than anywhere else in Europe ASUS has not achieved such a high popularity, as in Russia. Russian buyers have provided 30-40% of all sales of video cards and motherboard in the European region, and only thanks to them that ASUS produced European leadership in several classes of computer components.
ASUS representatives told that they have been successful not least because paid a lot of communication with customers in social networks VK and Instagram. According to them, further increase the popularity of the brand will provide laptops for the GeForce GTX 1080, which will be the best option for players at the turn of the 2018-2019.
