Samsung Electronics announced the launch of Russia’s service remittances Samsung Pay. It allows owners of Samsung smartphones to transfer money from card to card by phone number.
Service users can make transfers to cards of Russian banks in roubles with application Samsung Pay. The operation of debiting/crediting of funds on the cards Visa and Mastercard are implemented by the VTB Bank and the processing company Multicarta.
The sender of the money transfer is not necessary to specify the data recipient’s card, select the phone number from the contacts list, address book or entered manually. A feature of this service is that the recipient can accept the payment, even if it is not a user or Samsung Pay Samsung.
Recall that the mobile payment service Samsung Pay earned in Russia on 29 September 2016. It works with both NFC and MST-terminals.
