For improved reliability, each IMP had to be connected with at least two other IMP. Even if some lines have been destroyed, the message itself has chosen the path and reached the destination. That is the ARPANET, the network created by the Agency of the Ministry of defense, became the prototype of the Internet. The Protocol used was TCP/IP, which today is the main data transmission Protocol. As the network ARPANET ceased to exist in June 1990.

On 1 September 2008 released the Google Chrome browser. The new versions are slightly modified some of the ideas that were at the start. The main feature was the fact that Chrome runs a separate process for each instance. Chrome was only available to PC users, but a year later released versions for OS X and Linux. Browser developed by Google based on free browser Chromium and WebKit engine, although 2013 used Blink. The first stable version of the program came only on 11 December 2008. Chief Executive officer of the company Eric Schmidt at first did not want to create a Chrome to not participate in “browser wars”. But Sergey Brin and Larry page own hired programmers from Mozilla, created a demo and Schmidt changed his mind. To date, Chrome has become the most popular browser in the world.
