LEGO Bugatti built from a million bricks. It is possible to ride!

This piece from LEGO, probably the craziest in the history of the company producing the legendary cubes. She built a model of the supercar Bugatti Chiron from LEGO. In the full size. On-the-go. Seriously. The creative team created this model for display at the Italian Grand Prix from a million cubes Technic.

For those who don’t know, Technic is a line of LEGO with connecting rods, gears, axles, motors and other parts that are a little more complicated than the cubes, for which we love this company.

Bugatti LEGO. What’s the catch?

LEGO says that the construction took only 13 500 hours. They started brainstorming in June of last year, and the construction began in March 2018.

Looking at the video, you may think that this is some kind of computer graphics. But no.

The truth is, it’s not really LEGO — there are a few components that you just can’t make plastics out of. Still, there is 1.5 tons of weight. The car is steel frame, couple of batteries, some gear with a 3D printer and these wheels Bugatti.

By the way, technically, LEGO is the largest manufacturer of tires in the world. Toy.

What else is the machine?

  • Removable steering wheel
  • Doors that open and close
  • The spoiler, which rises and falls at the press of a button
  • Functional speedometer, also from the particles Technic

Stupid? Maybe. Tell us what you think in our chat in Telegram.
