In the vast Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, showed a live photo of the upcoming flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 20, while not officially presented by the manufacturer.
The photo confirmed the unusual design of the main triple chamber design, a sort of square with flash and lenses in each corner. The photo also shows this weird cover for camera access, but, rather, it is part of the cover, and the smartphone will do without such structures. We also see the fingerprint scanner.
According to earlier leaks, the smartphone is equipped with a 6.3-inch AMOLED-display with a resolution of Full HD+ (2244 x 1080 pixels). The hardware basis was the new top-end processor HiSilicon Kirin 980, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.
Huawei Mate 20 and 20 Mate Pro will be the first smartphones based on Kirin 980. Chip, turn, will be the first SoC based on 7-nanometer manufacturing process technology. The announcement HiSilicon Kirin 980 is expected at the IFA exhibition in 2018, which will be held from August 31 to September 5 in Berlin. The battery has a capacity of 4300 mAh. The smartphone runs on Android operating system 9 Pie.
The official debut of Huawei Mate Mate 20 and 20 Pro is expected in October 2018.
