Company Xiaomi presented today in Russia flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 8. Recall, Xiaomi Mi 8 replaces last year’s Xiaomi Mi 6, the name was given in honor of the eighth anniversary since the founding of the company in 2010.
Xiaomi Mi 8 was the first “frameless” smartphone with cutout screen in iPhone style X. the Back panel is made of glass and the housing is sealed by a frame made of 7000 series aluminum. Dimensions are 154,9 x 74,8 x 7.6 and correspond to the 5.5 inch form factor of earlier models.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution+ (2248 x 1080 pixels), main camera with wide angle main module Sony IMX363 12 MP with an aperture of f/1.8 and the auxiliary module S5K3M3 12 MP with f/2.4 aperture, 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Supported unlock in the face, and the user recognition is performed with infrared sensor for increased accuracy. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel.
The hardware is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 845, 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal flash memory. The battery has a capacity of 3400 mAh.
Xiaomi Mi 8 is well positioned as the world’s first smartphone with dual GPS module that improves the positioning accuracy, especially in buildings and delays of the signal. Supports two SIM cards, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac), NFC and Bluetooth 5.0. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with the latest MIUI shell 10.
In Russia Xiaomi Mi 8 is offered at a suggested retail price of 29 990 rubles for the 6+64 GB and 32 990 6+128 GB in our online store Tmall from August 8, 2018.
