Apparently, the next generation of Qualcomm processors for its flagship smartphone has already entered mass production. This was reported by Roland Quandt (Quandt Roland), editor of the well-known regular leaks of the German resource WinFuture, using your Twitter account.
The source said a mention of a Xiaomi smartphone with a chip SDM855 simply Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, in the database benchmark Geekbench. According to him, Qualcomm launched the mass production of Snapdragon 855 at least in the beginning of June.
However, Quandt himself notes that this may be a bug in the database because the ID of the processor to the Snapdragon model 835, and the performance is at the appropriate level. The release of smartphones based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 is expected in 2019.
