Concern “Kalashnikov” has offered to ease restrictions in the Russian legislation governing the issue of weapons. Amendments to the law “On weapons” have already been prepared concern. This was told by the online “Kommersant”.
The amendments include authorization to have up to ten weapons per person, the lower requirements for experience to buy rifled hunting rifles, and increasing capacity of shop hunting rifles for training and target practice. In the near future, the amendments should be submitted to the Parliament.
If the amendment is approved, then for obtaining a permit for rifles will need experience of owning a smoothbore for three years, not five. Individuals will be able to transfer your weapons to repair the special licensed company, not only directly to the manufacturer.
Vitaly Kruchin, President of the international Confederation of practical shooting, believes that the extension of the limit on the maximum number of weapons per person will help professional athletes. He noted that in shooting sports athletes usually are involved in average in six disciplines, each of which requires two “trunk”.
