Multi-Touch Skin sensor that turns human skin into a touch surface

To control the electronic devices invented a variety of different input devices. But what if we could make our own skin this device? Sounds fantastic, but a group of scientists their Carskogo University in the development of sensor Multi-Touch Skin creates just such a product.

The basic principle of operation is similar to how to operate the familiar displays of smartphones. Multi-Touch Skin consists of 2 conductive layers “lined” with sensors like the notebook sheet in the box. This allows to accurately determine the point at which the touch changes the capacitance. The material is composed of PET plastic, which is applied to the silver, and the dielectric material is the polyvinyl chloride. But the most interesting thing is that this sensor is cheap and easy to manufacture and can be made using almost any inkjet printer. When it is seasoned with a touch of ink.

During the creation of prototypes, which you can see in the photo above, scientists have created 2 form of working prototype.
