LG has recently unveiled a new line of robots for hotels and supermarkets

After showing its own production of robots at last year’s CES, LG has decided not to stop and have expanded the range of intelligent assistants that are now releasing under the name CLOi. Robots have already made an impression on customers, well showing himself as assistants, guides and couriers, working at Seoul Incheon international airport last year. Now the line of robomania LG replenished roboticists, robot shopping and a robot doorman.

All new models are designed for commercial use and made in the same style, so to distinguish them from the other manufacturers ‘ devices will be easy — recognizable pair of eyes and case design became a hallmark of the line.

The manufacturer expects that robots will find application in recreation areas airports hotels and even in restaurants, where they can bring the customers drinks and meals. For this they were equipped with a special pull-out trays. Upper compartment is intended for storage of towels, Essentials and other useful things.

The receptionist will be able to help with instant client registration, thus allowing to reduce the time which people usually spend at the bar with a human administrator. In addition, the receptionist will help the guest with the Luggage. While developers do not report the maximum load but, judging by the photos, at least with a suitcase of medium size he should handle without any problems.

Robot shopping can lead the client to stand with the necessary human goods and will help check the price tags. To interact with the assistant person will be able through a special smartphone app.

Features robots manufacturer has not yet disclose, reserving them for the CES, which will probably be released much more details.
