A semi-electric police car for the German police. So it has come to this.

The German police and the Passat are two hands on one belly. For years, it is one of the most popular plietie cars at our eastern neighbours. Volkswagen decided to get a head start on a new order to take and put the Passat GTE in a polizei-uniform. Complete with a blue/silver colour scheme, LED lights on the roof, a digital radio and a geweerhouder to the passenger side.

In the forepeak is a 1.4 TSI with 150 hp and 250 Nm, as in the Golf GTE. In the Passat, the block is combined with a slightly stronger electric motor, good for 115 hp and 400 Nm. The combined power output of 215 hp. Who the gas fully horn does the 0-100 km/h sprint in less than 8 seconds. The regular variant gets a top of 220 km/h. The Polizei Edition will be a little more difficulty, due to the presence of stroomlijnvernachelende flashing lights.
