German company Koch Media, which among other things owns publisher Deep Silver, announced their plans to release in early 2018 Commodore 64 Mini, a smaller version of the iconic computer of the ‘ 80s of the last century.
Probably at this step the company went, inspired by the successful sales of the NES and SNES mini — smaller copies of Nintendo consoles, the first of the “babies” appeared NES — its release was held at the end of last year, the SNES mini has started to sell recently.
Like the old Nintendo Commodore 64 have a cult status among adult PC users and video game lovers, so the issue of reduced copies of it will be able to please the reactionaries, and to attract to the games of the early eighties that appeared on the original Commodore 64, new users.
Miniature Commodore 64 will be less than half the original device and will come with pre-installed “on Board” 64 games: California Games, Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe -, Impossible Mission, and others.
