After several very unsuccessful attempts to continue or restart the once popular franchise “Terminator”, there are very few people who would believe in the success of this venture. Alternated Directors, writers, producers, but none of them managed to surpass the first two films, shot by James Cameron in 1984 and 1991. Fortunately, the rights to the franchise after many years, back in the hands of Cameron, so he plans to make a direct sequel to “Terminator 2: judgment day”, closing his eyes to all that was created without his participation.
Actress Linda Hamilton, who played Sarah Connor in the first two films back on the big screen image of the character. Along with it will appear on the screen and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who, according to one theory, is just an ordinary person who will serve as a prototype for the creation of the machine-killers in the future. It is not excluded that Arnold will have to rejuvenate with the help of computer technology, the benefit that this opportunity with Hollywood artists already have.
Unfortunately, James Cameron is currently focusing on filming four new movies “Avatar”, but it will closely follow the film-making process, trusted film “Deadpool” to Tim Miller. Miller, among other things, is the founder and owner of the Studio for the production of visual effects Blur Studio, which develops the CGI videos for a variety of film studios and video games developers. It may well be that the new film will be outstanding in terms of advanced computer graphics.
James Cameron wrote the script for the new film along with writers David Goyer (“the Dark knight”), Charles Eglee (“Dark angel”) and Josh Friedman (“the Sarah Connor Chronicles…”). The story not only returns to the screens of the well known characters, but will introduce several new, young heroes. At the moment Cameron is looking for a talented 18-year-old actress for a key role in the new film. As the Creator of the franchise, his new movie men from the past collide with the people from the future.
While the upcoming movie has no official name, no even approximate release dates on the big screens. But one thing can be sure: if it took Cameron himself, the new film will be much more interesting than “Terminator: salvation” and “Terminator: Genesis”.
