Dell opens pre-orders VR headset Visor

In late August, Dell introduced its virtual reality headset VR Visor and announced that it will begin selling the gadget in October. Yesterday Dell announced the start of pre-orders on the device for the Windows platform Mixed Reality from Microsoft.

Visor VR resolution is 1440 1140 pixels on the lens, the device is equipped with a LCD display of 2.9 inch. The angle of the headset 110 degrees, the refresh rate is 90 Hz.

Several computer models released by Dell, are already compatible with the new headset — among them are the Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming and some other PC gaming line from the manufacturer.

From other devices such plan headset Dell differs in that it will be able to work with virtual and augmented reality. It’s the HoloLens headset from Microsoft. Projects with AR Dell has not yet revealed, but promises that they will appear in the future.

Basic kit will cost $ 350, and the set with two touch controllers will cost one hundred dollars more expensive. Official sales of the headset will start on 17 October.
