#video | Panasonic showed off a transparent OLED TV

In the framework of the exhibition IFA 2017, the Japanese manufacturer of electronics Panasonic first showed the audience a prototype transparent TV OLED matrix. The Japanese themselves call the technology “smart glass”. While it is difficult to imagine where to use this panel, because to watch them TV shows and movies is unlikely to be convenient. However, experts believe that in the future they can be integrated into smart furniture, household appliances, and use as interior decoration.

Screen resolution transparent TV is 3840 by 2160 pixels, equivalent to the standard Ultra HD. The device has all the features of a full-fledged multimedia center with access to the Internet, listening to music, and recognize voice commands. At the exhibition stand of Panasonic TV showed a beautiful demo, but under the device offers extra screen displaying different animations. Behind the screen was also located two glass pyramids that visitors were able to assess the transparency panel.
