New nanorobots to kill cancer cells in minutes

An international group of scientists, consisting of three persons developed microscopic and “light on the rise of” robots, able to quickly and effectively destroy the cancer cells. The Verge reports that in the past year, researchers have received last year the Nobel prize in chemistry for their creation, and this year began conducting the tests.

Machines originally aimed at a certain type of protein, so they are accurately find the target. If ih activated using light, they begin to spin very quickly, thus penetrating inside the cell, thus destroying it in a matter of minutes. It is noted that the search targets the nanobots carried out without the participation of light, but to penetrate it with light.

The nanobots are so small that even “rank” of 50 thousand copies in thickness is hardly more than a human hair. Now scientists have conducted a series of experiments on fish and microorganisms, but I hope that in the future will be able to use them for human therapy, because such robots will be useful not only to destroy tumours but also for spot delivery of the medication to a specific area of the body.
