France will help Iraq with reconstruction

BAGHDAD –

France going to Iraq to help with the reconstruction of the country, the French minister of Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian let you know after discussion with the authorities in Iraq. France is one of the main coalition partners of the United States in the fight against the Islamic State.

One of the main components of the assistance is a loan of 430 million euros granted by France to Iraq provided. The Iraqi prime minister Hayder al-Abadi called on the French to invest in Iraq.

With the liberation of Mosul in July the caliphate almost defeated. “We were in the war and we will be present in peace”, said Le Drian.
