The former attorney general of Venezuela, Luisa Ortega has traveled to Brazil. That has the Colombian immigration authorities Tuesday announced. Ortega, a declared opponent of the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, fled on Friday in the company of her husband via Aruba to Colombia. The out of her office put chief prosecutor declared that her life no longer was sure it was in Venezuela.
The Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos, left Monday to know that he was willing Ortega political asylum to grant if they, therefore, would ask for, and promised her protection. Maduro said in a speech that Venezuela an international search warrant will issue for Ortega. He accused her of it for a very long time to work together with the US.
