Terrorist organisation Islamic State Thursday night claimed responsibility for the attack in Barcelona.
That could be done as usual via the private news agency Amaq. “The perpetrators of the attack in Barcelona are soldiers of IS. They have performed the surgery as a response to the call for the coalitielanden to take”, says the message of Amaq, referring to the US-led alliance that is fighting against the sunni muslim extremists.
