British ministers: transitional period after brexit

LONDON –

The United Kingdom wants a “limited transition period” after the country of the European Union (EU) in march 2019 official leave. Two important ministers, Philip Hammond of the treasury and Liam Fox of International Trade, arguing for that in the newspaper The Telegraph.

They say it is not how long such a transition, what their concerns should take a while, but found, however, that this advance should be made clear. It may not be a “back door to the EU to continue”, emphasize the two. The ministers found a transitional phase necessary to the industry “more certainty” to provide.

The proposal indicates that two camps within the British government now agree on the way to the brexit form. Hammond represents the pro-European group within the Conservative Party of prime minister Theresa May, the Fox, as one of the video proponents of the British departure from the EU.
