The naming and shaming can begin again. The uistlag is within, and we have a loser. *drum roll*

The U.s. Consumer Reports has this week the results of their annual Reliability Survey released. Again, it was a celebration of old acquaintances at their usual places. But also the absolute loser has a performance of format. The list is compiled each year on the basis of collected experiences.

The top five (the positive top-5, so) is formed by the usual suspects. Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus tops the list once again. But just a point to make busy Toyota itself the second place. Place three and four are occupied by even more Japanese friends, namely, Mazda and Honda. Only on the fifth place we find a non-Japanese in the form of Audi. The American brand Buick occupied the sixth place.

And then the side of the list where the teeth gnash, the knees buckling, and the heads roll. And it is not fun, because it is such a cliché, but Fiat ended up back at the bottom of the list. It is striking that four of the five lowest-placed brands are part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). Jeep, Ram and Dodge occupy namely places two, three and four in the top of the list of least reliable brands, and not for the first time. The proud Mercedes-Benz is on place five from the bottom of the list.

According to the report, was the Fiat 500L is the least reliable car of the least reliable brand. Especially the transmission and the UConnect infotainment system of FCA system played the model mix.
