More refugees from USA to Canada

TORONTO –

The number of asylum seekers from the United States crosses the border to Canada after a temporary decline increased again. The authorities in Toronto were Friday known that in the month of June, 884 refugees are received and held by the police. The counter for 2017 came on 4345, so it looks that the record year 2011 will be surpassed.

The bulk of the migrants, 88 percent, chose last month for the province of Quebec. Earlier this year, they sought their salvation often in Manitoba. Many asylum seekers say on arrival that they the US have abandoned out of fear to be expelled as a result of the new policy of president Donald Trump. After interrogation and screening, they may request for a residence permit in Canada to submit. Their previous stay in the U.S. is a downside, however.
