In Denmark developed a system of creating a robot in 13 minutes

Simple disposable robots can quickly perform a few simple tasks can be very useful in a number of cases. For example, if you need somewhere to climb or pass through a winding narrow passage. To do expensive robots in this situation — not the most sensible pastime, but to produce the simplest mechanism from a wire and one or two motors is quite possible. Therefore, the Danish experts from the University IT has developed a system that makes such robots in just 13 minutes.

All that is needed for the manufacture of such a robot is to input raw data, denoting the conditions that the robot will encounter. After that, the system itself will produce something that is able to cope with the task properly bent wire and has attached to it one or more motors.

System which creates robots, learns, gradually improving the design, so in the end it will make a robot that meets all requirements and is able to crawl into narrow holes.

The developers are confident that their manufacturing technology can be applied in space — instead of taking a bunch of small bots, it is easier to make a simple mechanisms already in place.

Now experts develop the idea, pondering how to equip robots with sensors, cameras and other kit.
