Dozens of gays killed in Chechnya

MOSCOW –

The Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta has Monday the names made public of 27 young men in Chechnya without charge have been arrested and in the night of 25 on 26 January have been killed in a prison. The magazine, which critically is the opposite of the Kremlin, relies on high-ranking sources with the authorities in the southern republic.
