Six children Sunday in a village in the northwest of Pakistan to the life when she was a explosive mistook for a toy. Two other young people were injured by the incident in the area of South Waziristan, reported Pakistani media.
A family member of one of the victims said the children were playing when she had the explosive picked up, that apparently was very similar to toys. Four children died after the explosion on the spot, two others later died. The government promised that the families of the victims do not have to suffer for the medical costs.
The region was Saturday already rocked by a similar incident. Died two children from a nearby village after them while playing on a land mine was stepped on. According to the authorities, since 2016 is already 31 people in the South Waziristan killed or maimed by improvised explosive devices.
