Jihadist terror is claiming 135 lives in Europe

Terrorism by muslim extremists last year, 135 people’s lives demanded in Europe. This is evident from the annual terreurrapport that Europol Thursday published.

The European police office received a total of 142 cases of failed, foiled or successful terrorist attacks in eight countries. From the Netherlands came a message which related to a right-wing extremist threat. In total, in which 142 cases 1002 persons arrested.

Bloodiest attack in Nice

Jihadist terrorism (13 attacks) claimed the most deaths: 135 people were killed by religious-inspired attacks. The bloodiest was in Nice, with 86 deaths. Six of the thirteen attacks had a direct link with Islamic State.
