The number of Brits that the German nationality was, in 2016 more than 360 percent higher than a year earlier. It goes according to the German federal statistics agency Destatis to 2865 people. That has, according to the organization, with the upcoming British departure from the EU.
In total it acquired last year, more than 110.000 foreigners German nationality: an increase of 2.9 percent. The British formed the fastest growing group. The largest group came according to the statistics agency of Turkey. In 2016, seized 16.290 Turks with a German passport.
