TIKRIT –
Iraqi forces have on Saturday a offensive of Islamic State in the sunni town of Shirqat, south of Mosul, repulsed. According to security officials came by the fighting thirty soldiers and civilians, forty people were injured. Also were at least ten IS fighters were killed.
IS lost Shirqat last year to the government forces, supported by the Americans, and local combat units.
