Hyperloop One introduced the plan of building of Europe by high-speed highways

The Hyperloop One company had a contest in which teams of engineers from around the world engaged in the development of the plan strip “hyperloop” through the area entrusted to them. This competition allowed the company’s specialists to select the best from the economic point of view ideas that besides technically possible to implement. Having carefully considered the projects submitted, Hyperloop One made a map of the European branches of their highways, and then showed how it would look in numbers.

A total of nine branches, the smallest of which connects Finland and Estonia — the length of this line is only 90 kilometers, the German “pipe” promises to be more almost twenty times — then the developers swung to a network of tunnels and pipes, the total length of which is nearly up to 2000 kilometers. The third longest branch, the project will be little more than a thousand kilometers and will connect Scotland and Wales.

In the list of the finalists projects were branches developed for Poland, the Netherlands, UK, Spain, Morocco, and the plan of the pipe, which can be laid between Corsica and Sardinia. The length of these routes varies between 400 and 600 small kilometers.

Some sections of these routes are proposed to be laid under or above water. Proposed projects look good on paper, but whether you take One Hyperloop for their implementation are unclear. It is known that the first transport system, the company plans to launch in Dubai in three to five years.
