White House press secretary Sean Spicer will answer questions this afternoon about President Trump’s decision to exit the Paris Accord, a move that was wildly unpopular with people who care about the continued existence of life on Earth. And today’s edition of Spicey Time™ even includes a special guest: EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt.
The briefing is streaming on YouTube and is scheduled to start at 1:30pm Eastern, 10:30am Pacific time. And while the Larsen C Ice Shelf in Antarctica doesn’t have an official time zone, a crack in it has grown 11 miles in just six days and it’s about to break off completely. So let’s just call that o’shit o’clock.
On Tuesday, Spicer was asked if President Trump believes in climate change. Spicer’s response: “I haven’t asked him.”
Other minions for the president have been just as cagey when asked about the devastation that global climate change is unleashing on the planet. Hopefully Spicey or Mr. Pruitt have some answers for us by now.
