NVIDIA introduced the new GeForce mobile graphics MX150 initial level. It is designed for use in laptops and comes to replace the GeForce 940MX on the basis of Maxwell.
While NVIDIA has revealed the minimum details about the novelty. GeForce MX150 is based on the Pascal architecture and uses GDDR5 memory. According to the manufacturer, it provides three times better performance per watt compared to GeForce 940MX. It will allow to create thinner laptops, which are faster and consume less energy.
Also stated that the laptops with GeForce MX150 will be 4 times faster than standard notebooks with integrated graphics, providing access to popular online games with Full HD resolution at 60 frames per second.
Supply of laptops with GeForce MX150 from Acer, Asus, Toshiba, HP and MSI is expected to start in June 2017.
