Michel Ancel (Michel Ancel) has said it will not show Beyond Good & Evil 2 at E3 2017, but he also hinted that later this year the project is yet to be demonstrated in one form or another.
“I don’t think E3 is the best place to show Beyond Good & Evil 2, but we continue to work on the game, so later this year you will hear more“.
Last time on unfinished Ansel said in October 2016. Then, in November, he spoke about the possibility of interplanetary flights in the game, but added that an early release should not wait. Later, the network spread rumors about the temporary exclusivity for Nintendo Switch.
Previously, Michel Ancel explained why game development takes such a long time:
“Already in the 2008th year, we had some working prototypes of the game. The passage on the video played in real time; this was live gameplay. However, we had too many unresolved technical issues. We needed space travel, giant city, the opportunity to explore the world. Initially this was conceived the first Beyond Good & Evil. We decided not to release a sequel without it. New project in the universe of the franchise was supposed to be a game of dreams. Then we took 2D-projects has released a new part Rayman, and then went back to Beyond Good & Evil 2. The work is still very, very much. But we have a great team and a great working technology“.
