Thousands of people gathered Tuesday night at Albert Square in Manchester to the attack in the city to commemorate him. They held a minute’s silence out of respect for the victims.
The bishop of Manchester, David Walker, put out at the beginning of the meeting a candle. Some people left flowers behind in the city centre, while others signs contributed with texts like ,,I love Manchester”.
Bystanders applaudisseerden for members of the Sikh community, who arrived to free drinks, to share. They declared the city to want to help , at a time when it goes bad”. Also, someone wrote on the square in large letters, a determined message on the ground: ,,Today, mourn we, but we are strong.”
